Hi, it is lovely to have you visit.
When you first start surfing the internet, trying to find ways on how to make money online, it can be incredibly daunting and intimidating when you find out how many millions of sites, programs, membership types, sales pitches and seemingly endless opportunities you are confronted with.
Gulp! Where do you start, and how do you know which are the scams? And let me tell you, the terminology online alone will take you a couple of weeks to learn, never mind starting to implement.
If you want to save yourself endless frustration, and save lots and lots of money, then please:
STOP!!! STOP!!! STOP!!!
Do not, I repeat, do not, do another thing on the internet, do not press another button or click anywhere, before considering the following very important factors:
- Know yourself first. What is your passion? What do you like to talk about, what gets you up in the morning, what comes naturally to you and what do you find easy to do? This will allow you to much easier get into the right product line from the start, and to not waste time looking through all the millions of possibilities first.
- How much time will you have to devote on surfing, learning and implementing what you have learned? Will this be a primary income or a secondary one? Think very carefully on this, as it is exceedingly hard in the beginning, depending on your level of computer competency and on how internet and tech savvy you are. You need time, period.
- How determined, energetic and goal oriented are you? You WILL need staying power, organization and sheer grit in order to get everything up and running. Do not fall for those who tell you that you will be sunning yourself and drinking tequilas while your business runs itself. No way. Not in the beginning, perhaps later on when you have really established your business and have found Nirvana!
- Are you prepared to put in the learning? Depending on what you end up doing, it might be that you only have to learn something about Clickbank and affiliate marketing, or if you want a WordPress blog, you will have to learn how to use the dashboard and its features. If you want your own website, you will have to learn quite a few things, such as how to use a program such as FileZilla, for instance.
- How much money do you have to spend on getting everything you need for your specific business or for your choice of money making method online? Because it WILL cost you some money, if not a lot, according to your specific choices.
There ARE (really and truly) many excellent resources, programs and opportunities out there for free; many will not cost you a cent. So remember to search for these online. And I would like to say the most heartfelt thank you to all those who so tirelessly and selflessly put their efforts out there for us to use in order to improve our lives.
Guys: You are simply the best!
So, what to do first:
- Google it! Go to Google (or your preferred search engine) and type in the words of the subject you are interested in. Try to be as specific as possible, and if you want to, put the words in quotation marks or inverted commas (those would be the ‘ or the “ on your keyboard) This will ensure that Google returns the sites with the most accurate information to you. Do this as many times as you need to and keep changing the wording slightly, until you are satisfied that you have the websites you are most interested in.
- Read, research, read, research, read, research….you get the picture. The time you spend on this phase will be of invaluable benefit to you. Do not (as I did) jump in, feet first, enthusiastically clicking on all and sundry, giving your contact details left, right and centre, do not subscribe to all the innumerable sites and blogs out there, do not open your wallet until you have read and then read again, everything on your subject you possibly can. Keep on googling….
- Then type into Google the word “your specific subject + forum”, and then see what all the thousands of other users online might be saying and advising about the program or membership you are interested in.
- Type into Google the word “your specific subject + scam” and see if anything is being said about the subject possibly being linked to a scam. It is really great that the internet allows us to learn from mistakes made by others which they are willing to share with us.
- Type into Google the word “your specific subject + free tutorials”. Download them or watch and learn online.
- Go to Clickbank and Amazon (also EBay) and see which are popular subjects items and books are being talked about, bought and downloaded the most.
- When looking at sites returned by a search parameter, look at the figures in the middle or at the top right of the screen, which indicate how many results Google found for the specific query. This will also indicate to you how often people are searching for that subject.
Now then, if after all that, you are still alive and well (hiehie), THEN and only THEN, do you choose the membership site or the product you wish to start out with. You then choose whether you are going to have a blog/website or just a website. To start out with affiliate marketing, you don’t necessarily need a website, and can make some money first before gaining experience online and then starting your own site. Remember that all things online are evolving quite rapidly, and blogging software, such as WordPress, will allow you to have both a blog and a website at the same time. This makes sense as it is two for the price of one
Just kidding, of course WordPress is free, which is the greatest part of it all!
When learning about something, my best advice is to learn it from the horse’s mouth. In other words, if you want to learn about all the many things Google allows you to do, go to Google. If you want to learn about Clickbank, go to them directly, and so on. Learn from the really big names out there (called Gurus, but me thinks we need a new description of them now – the name has been much overused and is tired) but be careful as some of them always want you to pay first.
It won’t take you too long to realize that some names will only ever tell you about something in order to get your money and others will give you an astounding amount of quality information, tips, hints, tutorials and advice without charging you an arm and a leg in return.
Also beware of the infernal one time offers which entreat you to buy now, or forever hold your peace. Rubbish, if it is a good product, you can be quite sure it will around for a long while. Some will also offer fantastic sounding products for a ridiculously low fee, only for you to find out that in order to use it optimally, you will have to buy the whole full version enchilada at the much higher price.
By the way, if my way of writing contains too many highfalutin words please forgive me. It is just my way of having fun in my daily writings.
I enjoy the language and read voraciously (you see, there I go again
Thank you for visiting with me.
Until we meet again, keep googling, keep reading, keep researching, keep learning,
Ursula

Hi, yes, of course you may, as long as you rewrite it. Google and other search engines don’t like exact replicas or exact duplicate content. And you will definitively want to insert your own opinions, and learnings, and findings. You are unique, with unique insights, knowledge and opinions, which others will surely find interesting and well worth reading. I look forward to your successful journey online. Go for it! Wishing you loads of fun, and laughter and exciting times. Ursula

Hallo Sheena, here’s an answer to your concern:
ClickBank is not trying to make it hard but to make it safe for everyone, and to avoid online fraud. So what you are referring to is our Customer Distribution Requirements, CDR for short.
Your account must reflect sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, and the sales must have been made
with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers, prior to
receiving your first payment.
This requirement is in place to help prevent affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate Program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own ClickBank purchases.
Please note that once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, the full balance from your account will be paid on the next check issuing date. Also, please keep in mind that you only need to meet the Customer Distribution Requirement one time per account (not per check).
For more information please see the Customer Distribution Requirement on the following page:

I hope this clears the issue up a bit. It’s always those fraudsters making things difficult for us, isn’t it? (drat the chicanery and skulduggery around us!)
Be happy!
Ursula
Hallo Sheena, thank you for asking this question. I am making inquiries and will get back to you soonest. Have a happy day! Ursula
I’ve been told by a friend that Clickbank tries to make it very difficult to get paid by way of compelling you to sell dozens of different packages using assorted credit cards and also Paypal. I’d really like to try Clickbank but I am concerned with this process. Is it true?
Hello, cool site. I am also leading one’s so I know how hard it is. Your contents are great, although not always I agree with your opinions, but in spite of that I will visit your site more often. I wish you the success and the perseverance in running the blog, Kate
Hi, great to meet you. I suppose one only has to look around you for inspiration, and life alone is funny enough! I LOVE watching and learning from people, every single person has some talent or gift which I don’t have, and which I can admire. But mostly I think if life just pummels you enough, it knocks all the stuffiness out of you and you are able to observe and enjoy even the smallest things
Hope something good happens to you today!
Hmmm thanks for yet another funny and good post. Where do you receive your inspiration for all this

Hi Aleshia, newsletters seem to work for many of the bigger names, but I have found that, with so many emails to work through, and so many things to do each day, that it takes a lot of time to decide what is worth reading and doing. If the news doesn’t grab you in the very first instant you will tend not to read it, although it might have super content. Some newsletters are set up in such a way that it takes too long to load or it contains too many images/graphics and thus will not be opened again. Content needs to be portrayed in such a way as to allow instant scanning so that people can decide if they’re interested. RSS might work as well, or updates on mobiles, or just very brief summaries in emails. The ‘id’ is much more prevalent in people’s make-up today, and they want and demand instant gratification, the now, the immediate. If you can do that with your newsletter, you will have a winning formula. Please let us know if you do it, I would like to subscribe!
Ursula

I personally have embraced the new technologies along with the CMS platforms, I believe the new resources only make the world-wide-web styles better. I’m delighted that new systems are arriving out in internet design and style that make factors less difficult, improved, and greater searching for style.
Awesome, I had been seeking for one thing together the lines of the. I had been considering, do you consider newsletters are however an method of marketing online? Does anybody still use them nicely and actually obtain visitors?
I reckon something truly special in this internet site .
Great points. I let some of my friends know about your site. Keep up the lovely work, i’ll be back soon.
